Mt. Daisen is a volcanic mountain located in Tottori prefecture, Chugoku region of Japan. The closest downtown is Yonago city with a population of 150,000. You will probably arrive at Yonago city from wherever you come, because most trains, buses and airplanes arrive and depart from the city.
YONAGO AIRPORT
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Asiana Airlines operate at Yonago Airport. 5 planes of ANA arrive and depart daily from Yonago airport to Tokyo Haneda airport. 3 planes of Asiana Airlines make a round-trip weekly from Yonago Airport to Seoul Incheon International Airport.
YONAGO STATION
JR Hakubi Line, Sanin Honsen Line, and Sakai Line run Yonago station. Hakubi Line leads to Okayama city. Sanin Honsen Line connects to Matsue and Tottori city. Although the closest station to Mt. Daisen (Daisen Information Center) is Kishimoto Station, Yonago station is accessible, because most trains from big cities stop at Yonago station.

Express buses from Osaka, Tokyo, Hiroshima and other big cities arrive at the bus terminal in front of Yonago station.
