Kachan Soba is a cozy restaurant started in 2010 with the help of local volunteers to boost development of the area with soba noodles and doburoku (unrefined sake). Kachan means mother in Japanese slang. Literally, you will want to come back again because of the family atmosphere of the restaurant.
The building is used as a community center. Therefore, it is open only from 11:00 to 14:30 on weekends as a restaurant. The hideout restaurant is in the silent neighborhood on a small side road of Route 46.
Homemade soba noodle has a simple yet sophisticated flavor. You can also try Doburoku (unrefined Japanese alcohol sake) produced by the local fathers.
